Stonecastle Dentistry Featured in Patterson Today

We're grateful to the patients who volunteered to be models for photos taken last Friday. Their images and stories will appear in the fall issue of Patterson Today, a trade magazine for dentists  published by one of the largest dental supply companies in the nation. They feature three dental practices in each quarterly issue, so this is quite an honor. Maybe we'll be on the cover!

Stonecastle Dentistry Hosts Jelly Bean at ArtPrize


The front lawn of The Castle was home to Jelly Bean, a sculpture by John Clement, from Brooklyn, New York. The welded-steel structure was the first outdoor piece installed for the ArtPrize event, an urban exhibition that opened on September 23.

"Putting 'Jelly Bean' in front of a dentist's office," Clement said, "the humor wasn't lost on me."

Clement studied with Mark Di Suvero, whose sculpture is installed permanently adjacent to City Hall and in the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park. Clement credits di Suvero with teaching him about "public art and exposing people who may never walk into a gallery or a museum to art." Clement himself has work permanently installed in Staten Island, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Palm Springs.
